Taking responsibility for online safety
Associate Professor Shanton Chang, from the Department of Computing and Information Systems, has written an article for The Conversation that urges us all to take greater responsibility for our online safety.
While most of us use the internet daily, how many of us really understand how it works and how to keep safe.
Associate Professor Chang likens it to getting behind the wheel of a car without knowing the rules of the road. “… you might still get where you’re going, but you could endanger yourself and those around you”.
